Crowds of visitors flocked to the 2025 World Expo in Osaka

Crowds of visitors flocked to the 2025 World Expo in Osaka on the first Saturday after the event kicked off last Sunday. The Expo venue on the artificial island of Yumeshima has been packed with holidaymakers and tourists since morning.  

They thronged the Grand Ring, which is the symbol of the Expo, as well as pavilions of foreign countries. A demo flight of a “flying car” was shown to visitors at around 10:30 A.M. local time at a take-off and landing site.  The vehicle was developed using drone technology and is designed to carry people and cargo. The flying car circled and hovered for about nine minutes while operators controlled it with levers.
