Reconstruction Efforts: Progress of temporary buildings and relocation

The government is making significant efforts to rehabilitate Mandalay earthquake victims.

As part of these efforts, Union Minister or Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi conducted a field inspection on Friday to assess the completed temporary buildings and the relocation of affected staff families in Nay Pyi Taw.

He reviewed the ongoing construction of dormitories and staff housings at the office No. 39 in the Forest Department compound, and urged completion by the end of May with proper relocation arrangements. He then met with relocated staff families and inspected the temporary office and its operations.

The Union Minister later inspected the construction of temporary buildings for staff families at office No. 28 and met with relocated staff families while coordinating the needs.
