Rehabilitation Efforts: Meeting with the IFRC and MRCS delegations

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win received IFRC Head of Delegation in Myanmar Ms. Nadia Khoury and President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society Dr. Myo Nyunt at the temporary office of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the medical support for Mandalay earthquake victims through joint efforts by local and international medical teams, the continuous care provided by the Ministry of Health and further cooperation by the Myanmar Red Cross and IFRC on rehabilitation efforts, including installing mobile water purifiers, temporary shelters, sanitation facilities and providing prosthetic limbs in affected areas including Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Sagaing and Inle.
