UK Foreign Secretary announces extra 120 million pounds for Sudan

During opening remarks at the London Sudan Conference on Tuesday, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced a further "120 million pounds worth of support" to help resolve the war in Sudan.

David Lammy, UK Foreign Secretary said "Today I'm announcing a further 120 million pounds worth of support. But the biggest obstacle is not a lack of funding or [inaudible] at the United Nations, it's a lack of political will." 

The conference is held to mark the second anniversary of the ongoing war in Sudan between Sudan's regular army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
