


Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has begun an official visit to five Middle Eastern countries this week, following requests for Indonesia’s engagement in addressing the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the broader region.
The trip includes scheduled meetings with leaders in the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan. His first stop is Abu Dhabi, where he will meet with UAE President to discuss regional geopolitical and economic developments.In Ankara, Prabowo is expected to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, followed by visits to Cairo and Doha.
In Qatar, a strategic agreement between the two countries is set to be signed. The final stop will be in Amman for talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan.President Prabowo stated that Indonesia remains ready to contribute to conflict resolution efforts based on its capacity and international role.
