The torches for the 2026 Winter and Paralympic Games were unveiled on Monday in Milan and Osaka as the countdown to the Milan-Cortina Games begins.

Carolina Kostner, Italian figure skater said "Well for me it's an immense honor and privilege to have the possibility to be part of the torch relay. It represents all the Olympic values, so for me being an athlete and having competed in four Olympic Games, it's my first time to carry the Olympic flame and I feel very honored and I'm looking forward to be able to welcome all the world in Milano Cortina in Italy for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games."

Designed by Carlo Ratti Associati, the torches were presented at Milan’s Triennale museum and Japan’s World Expo. The Olympic torch is light blue, while the Paralympic torch is bronze, both made from recycled aluminum. The flame will be lit in Olympia, Greece, on November 26, before making its journey across Italy, arriving in Milan on February 5, one day before the opening ceremony at San Siro Stadium. The Games will span northern Italy, from Milan to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
