







Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Yi, inspected the completion status of temporary shelters built in Nay Pyi Taw for the families of staff affected by the earthquake. He also joined in supporting and attending the peaceful Thingyan and charity food donation together with the temporarily relocated staff families.
On 14th April, Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, accompanied by Deputy and departmental officials, visited the Forest Department compound to inspect the construction of temporary housing for staff families affected by the earthquake. These included barracks and three-unit housing blocks. Responsible personnel explained the current completion status and upcoming plans.
The Union Minister instructed that the staff housing must be completed before the rainy season and that the relocation of staff families should be carried out promptly and efficiently.
Following this, the Union Minister inspected the temporary buildings constructed for staff families at Office No. 19 and within the Department of Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration. He then proceeded to Myanmar Timber Enterprise and Training School No. 2 in Pyinmana to examine the collection and availability of timber materials intended for building temporary housing for staff families. He emphasized the importance of completing construction tasks in a timely and effective manner and ensuring safety from potential hazards during the process.
After that, the Union Minister and officials attended the Peaceful Thingyan and Charity food donation held at Myanmar Timber Enterprise, Training School No. 2 in Pyinmana, the Office of Mining Enterprise No. 2 in Pobbathiri Township, and the Forest Research Institute in Zeyathiri Township, showing support and celebrating together with the temporarily relocated staff families.
