Humanitarian aid arrived: Humanitarian aid from Brunei arrived

A Brunei military plane carrying humanitarian aid from Brunei arrived at Yangon International Airport for the second time on Sunday in order to provide assistance to those affected by the severe Mandalay earthquake that struck on March 28.

The aid package, which includes blankets, batteries, and personal hygiene items, weighing 2,610 kg, was received and welcomed by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, ministers of the Region Government, the Director General of the Department of Strategic Studies and Training of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director General of the Department of Disaster Management of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and officials. The relief supplies were later transported to the earthquake-stricken areas under the supervision of the Yangon Region Government.
