On April 11, thousands of couples participated in a mass wedding ceremony organized by South Korea's Unification Church, commonly known as the "Moonies." The event took place at the Cheongshim Peace World Center.

This mass wedding tradition, initiated by the church's founder, Reverend Sun Myung Moon, began in 1961 with just 33 couples. Over the decades, the ceremonies have grown significantly in scale, with participants from around the world.
