Inspection Tour: MOE Deputy Minister inspects quake-hit infrastructures

Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint visited No.1 and No.4 Basic Education High Schools in Pyin Oo Lwin on 9th April where the diploma course on academic and teaching technique is being conducted.

The Deputy Minister met with the trainee teachers who are attending the diploma courses and provided the needs. They then visited the universities and the Education Degree College in Mandalay and encouraged the staff who were affected by the severe earthquake.

He also provided arrangements for convenience of accommodation, food, water and electricity supply as well as for reopening of the university at the designated time. The Deputy Minister later visited the No.20 Basic Education High School and inspected the collapsed of main building.
