Fish releasing ceremony : MGY Region CM joined in releasing fish fingerlings

The "Jivita Dana (Abhaya Dana) Fish Release Ceremony" was held in the morning on April 9 along the bank of the Ayeyarwady River near the We Love Magway Park in Magway Township, Magway Region.

The event was attended by the Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, and his wife, Region government ministers and their spouses, as well as region and district level departmental officials.

During the "Jivita Dana (Abhaya Dana) Fish Release Ceremony", Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and his wife, the Chief Justice of the Region High Court, region government ministers and their spouses, officials from the Fisheries Department, social organizations and the public released a total of 30,000 fish fingerlings raised at hatcheries in the Taungdwingyi and Pwint Phyu townships into the Ayeyarwady River, aimed at releasing fishes and environmental health.
