Sotheby's displays $100 million diamond collection in Abu Dhabi

Sotheby’s auction house is showcasing a rare blue diamond and the world’s largest flawless diamond as part of a high-profile $100 million exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Quig Bruning, Sotheby's Head of Jewels said  "We have an estimate in the region of 20 million US dollars for the Mediterranean blue, Where it's going to end up, we really have no idea. And that's the joy of auction."

The Mediterranean blue diamond is estimated at $20 million, though its final price remains uncertain. Experts note that, despite current financial market volatility, such rare gems have historically attracted significant interest, with investors often seeking alternative assets in times of economic uncertainty.
