Israeli Airstrike in Khan Younis Results in Civilian Casualties

An Israeli airstrike targeted a residential home in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, resulting in multiple fatalities. Rescue teams from the Palestinian Civil Defence and the Red Crescent worked to retrieve bodies from the debris and transported them to a nearby hospital. 

The exact number of casualties has not been confirmed. This incident is part of an ongoing series of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. The al-Amal neighborhood has experienced previous strikes, including an attack on a bakery on October 30, 2023, which injured ten people.
