Humanitarian Assistance: SAC Chairman receives ASEAN delegation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Foreign Minister of Malaysia and the Envoy of ASEAN Chair for 2025 Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hasan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on provisions of relief supplies and rescue teams from ASEAN member states to support the ongoing relief operations. They also talked about the condition of ongoing rescue and relief measures being carried out by the local organizations in cooperation with the international rescue teams as well as the deployment of mobile hospitals which can perform minor operations.

The meeting also focused on the needs of foodstuff and personal items as well as the machinery for removing the debris.
