Friendly Relations: Meeting with the Sri Lankan Prime Minister

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dr. Harini Amarasuriya in Bangkok of Friday.

The Sri Lankan Prime Minister conveyed the message of condolences sent by the Sri Lankan President on the damages caused by the recent powerful earthquake in Myanmar, and stressed the assistance of Sri Lanka in the rescue and relief operations.

Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing highlighted the progress of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and expressed thanks for the relief assistance. The meeting also focused on promoting cooperation in economic, defence, education, science and technological sectors while further strengthening the bilateral friendly relations.
