Second flight of deportees lands in Venezuela

A second flight carrying Venezuelan migrants deported from the United States landed in Venezuela. The plane arrived at Maiquetia International Airport near Caracas, bringing 199 deportees back to their home country. This flight was part of a series of deportation efforts following the resumption of repatriation flights between the U.S. and Venezuela.

The deportees were transported via Honduras, with the Venezuelan airline Conviasa facilitating the final leg of the journey to Caracas. ​The Venezuelan Interior Minister was present to receive the deportees at the airport.  He stated that among those returning, there was an individual sought by Venezuelan authorities, but denied claims that deportees were affiliated with the Tren de Aragua criminal gang. ​
