Relief Supplies: WHO donates essential medical supplies

The government is actively striving the investigation of the damage caused by the earthquake and implementing relief efforts in the affected areas. Furthermore, request for humanitarian assistance has been extended to the international community.

On Thursday, a cargo flight, carrying essential medical supplies, provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), landed at Yangon International Airport. The relief aids include over 34,000 kg of essential medical supplies, comprising 148 items. The Administrative Officer of the WHO in Yangon handed over these donated items to the concerned officials.
