



A delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left for Thailand on April 3rd to attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit.
The delegation was seen off at the Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport by SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Council Secretary, SAC members, Union Ministers and high-ranking officials as well as the Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar. Along with the Prime Minister, SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Union Ministers U Than Swe and General Moe Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services, Deputy Ministers and concerned officials accompanied the trip.
On arrival at the Don Mueang International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Thailand Minister of Labour Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakan, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Zaw Zaw Soe and officials.
During the trip, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold separate meetings with attendees from member countries to discuss current situations facing by Myanmar due to devastating earthquake, and collaboration with international organizations to conduct rescue operation and rehabilitation tasks effectively.
