Humanitarian Assistance : Relief supplies from Pakistan arrive Myanmar

The first flight carrying relief materials from Pakistan arrived at Yangon International Airport on 2nd April.

It carried 35 tonnes of essential supplies including tents, tarpaulin sheets, blankets, meals ready to eat, medicines and water modules. Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Imran Haider received the relief goods and handed them over to Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Soe Thein. Another flight carrying 35 tonnes of relief supplies will arrive in the next 48 hours.
