Regional Cooperation: SAC Chairman to attend BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will pay a visit to the Kingdom of Thailand on 3rd April to attend the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit which is secheduled to be held from 3 to 4 April.

During his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold seperate meetings with high ranking officials from BIMSTEC member countries to make discussions on current situations in Myanmar due to the devastating earthquake as well as matters on collaborative efforts with international communities to conduct rescue operations and rehabilitation processe effectively.
