Press Briefing : SAC information team leader made press briefing

The leader of the State Administration Council Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun conducted a press briefing in the afternoon on April 2nd.

In his briefing, he clarified the attack against the Chinese Red Cross motorcade on the social media post of TNLA inquired by the media, that motorcade which didn’t conduct to the host country as well as the relevant embassy and military attaché, warning shot of Tatmadaw security members to that motorcade entered into the arm-conflict area, the situation of Blue Sky Rescue Team from China which has reached Mandalay safely and carrying out the search and rescue works, assistances from 15 countries, relief items carried by 53 flights, 354 tons of aid materials, 495 tons of relief items and 1519 international rescue members arrived.

He also advised to inform and coordinate to the host country as well as relevant embassies and military attaché in advance and warned of fake news and rumors spread by the destructive medias and those who exploit the situation politically.
