




The Government is swiftly conducting investigations into the damages in earthquake-affected areas and carrying out timely rescue operations.
In addition, humanitarian aid from abroad has been facilitated. In the morning on April 1, two UAE military aircrafts carrying search and rescue equipment, along with UAE rescue teams, arrived at Yangon International Airport to assist the earthquake-affected people.
The rescue team consists of 40 members and five vehicles equipped with search and rescue gear. Upon their arrival at Yangon International Airport, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement welcomed them. It is reported that coordinated efforts were made to ensure the teams could promptly reach the earthquake-affected areas.
