Meeting with Affected Staff Members: MOI Union Minister comforts staff and families

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and officials on Sunday inspected the Khayay staff-housings damaged by the devastating earthquake and encouraged the staff and families. ​

During the visit, the Union Minister said it is the first devastating earthquake during over a century. Due to the earthquake, most of the offices, housings, roads and bridges were damaged. He added that arrangements are undertaken to build temporary shelters and toilets, along with the distribution of medicine and foodstuff. The Union Minister also fulfilled the requirements for basic needs.
