Thai hospital relocates patients after building damaged in 7.7-magnitude quake

In the aftermath of a severe earthquake, Thai hospitals faced significant challenges. Patient safety became the top priority, leading to the relocation of patients from compromised facilities. 

In one instance, a woman delivered her baby outdoors after being evacuated from a hospital building. Additionally, a surgeon continued to operate on a patient outside, moving the procedure from the hospital building to ensure safety.​ 

The earthquake's impact was severe, at least 10 fatalities and over 2,400 injuries. The disaster has prompted emergency declarations and international appeals for assistance.
