Relief Measures: SAC Chairman inspects the quake hit areas in Nay Pyi Taw

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the quake hit areas shortly after the powerful earthquake with the magnitude of 7.7 hit on Friday. They inspected the damages of roads and bridges from the Panglaung Junction to the Nay Pyi Taw Command Traffic Light area, along the Rajahtani Road and Pyinmana-Taungnyo Road.

The Prime Minister provided instructions for speedy restoration of traffic for public convenience. On arrival at the Nay Pyi Taw 1,000 bed hospital, the Prime Minister comforted the victims who are receiving the medical treatment. They also inspected the relief measures at the Kayay Staff Housing near Nay Pyi Taw Myoma Market, and instructed for rapid rescue works.
