Trainings for Teachers: MGY CM attended the opening ceremony

The opening ceremony for the Pre and Primary Teacher Training Course (PPTT) batch No. 12/2025 and the Diploma in Education and Pedagogy (Dip.EP) Training Course batch No. 1/2025 was held at the Education Hall of the Magway Education Degree College on March 26.

During the opening speech, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, emphasized that the trainees should engage in learning experiences during their training period. He encouraged them to combine theoretical and practical teaching in their respective schools to provide their students with a well-rounded education.

He expressed the hope that they would cultivate a love for their heritage, country, resources, and natural environment, along with developing a spirit of understanding and compassion among fellow humans. Following this, students from the Magway Education Degree College entertained the attendees with songs, and the Chief Minister honored and awarded prizes to the performers.

The PPTT Training Course (12/2025) being opened today will host 600 students at the Magway Education Degree College, 353 students at the Pakokku Education Degree College, and the Dip.EP (1/2025) Training will involve 400 students at the Magway Education Degree College, 2,580 students in various basic education schools in Magway, Minbu, and Chauk, and 294 students at the Pakokku Education Degree College, totaling 2,874 students. The training period is scheduled to run from March 24 to May 30.
