Rubio meets with head of Haiti's presidential transition council

On March 26 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Fritz Alphonse Jean, President of Haiti's Transitional Presidential Council (TPC), in Kingston, Jamaica. This meeting was part of Rubio's official tour of the Caribbean, during which he also visited Jamaica, Guyana, and Suriname. The discussions focused on addressing the escalating violence in Haiti and exploring potential solutions to restore stability in the region.
