Meeting Retired Senior Officers: Senior General meets with retired senior officers

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla cordially met with the retired senior officers and wives who are temporarily accommodating at Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw to attend the 80th Anniversary Armed Forces Day which falls on 27th March.

During the meeting, the Senior General and wife paid respects to the retired senior officers and wives, enquiring about their health and social requirements. Furthermore, the Senior General highlighted that Tatmadaw’s efforts to preserve its fine traditions while striving to enhance the capacity and efficiency.

He also expressed his gratitude to the retired senior officers for being present at the Armed Forces Day ceremony and stated that Tatmadaw is prioritizing the peace and stability of the State. He added that the SAC is striving for sector-wise development of the country, while enhancing the education sector, through the implementation of informal education in addition to the formal education, and promoting the library works.

The retired senior officers expressed their appreciation to be present on the occasion, and support the Senior General’s efforts in serving the State’s duties. They also wished for the continuous efforts for ensuring peace, stability and development of the State.
