Coordination meeting: Matters of implementation for e-Government discussed

The coordination meeting of the e-Government Implementation Working Committee was held at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Naypyidaw, on March 25.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Working Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo, who delivered an opening speech. In his speech, Union Minister stated that Myanmar must work diligently to successfully achieve the milestones outlined in the Myanmar e-Governance Master Plan 2030.

He emphasized that to achieve this, efforts must include building ICT infrastructure, e-Procurement, public-private partnerships, training skilled personnel, establishing standards, conducting research, disseminating information, and engaging in international cooperation.

He also emphasized the need for rapid development of e-Government services to enhance the efficiency and speed of implementation. Additionally, members of Working Committee, sub-committee chairs, and representatives from regions and states governments presented the current status of e-Government implementation and discussed key issues for guidance.

Following the discussions and presentations, the working Committee Chairman, provided coordination and a closing speech, bringing the meeting to a close.
