Russia-US talks in Riyadh conclude

The talks between Russian and U.S. delegations concluded in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh on Monday after more than 12 hours, according to Russian news agency RIA Novosti. 

The talks, mainly focused on reaching a Black Sea ceasefire deal before securing a broader agreement, followed a meeting between the United States and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia on Sunday. A joint statement following the talks will be published on Tuesday, citing a source familiar with the venue of the talks.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier on Monday that the Russian and U.S. delegations had no plans to sign any documents at the end of the talks.
