Encouragement for cleaning tasks: Kachin State CM encouraged collective cleaning task

In honor of the 80th Anniversary of the Armed Forces Day, a collective cleaning task was carried out on the morning of March 24 in the areas surrounding Aung Zay Yaung Aung Pagoda in Myitkyina's Myothit Ward and the Welcome to Myitkyina Maykha Flower Garden. This public service activity was also joined by the local residents.

During the clean-up efforts, the Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan, Northern Command Commander of North Command Ma-J Gen. Aung Zaw Htwe, along with senior military officers, the Chief Justice State High Court, State Government Ministers, and City development committee staff, collectively participated in the cleaning activities. They inspected the work being done, including the clearing of bushes and trees, and the collection of garbage by military personnel from various units around the pagoda. Necessary coordination and support were provided by the Chief Minister with the responsible officials.

Additionally, at 9 a.m., the Chief Minister attended the opening ceremony of the Primary, Middle, and High School levels English language training program organized by the Kachin State Government for the families and children of the staff from the departments and organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs held at the Samaduwa Sinwarnaw Hall within the State Government Office compound.

Following this, Professor Dr. Aung Win, the Rector of Myitkyina University, explained the curriculum and plans for the training program. The Chief Minister also provided cash assistance to the teachers from Myitkyina University who will be conducting the English language courses. Furthermore, educational materials were presented to 67 students from primary, middle, and high school levels.

Later, the Chief Minister donated a set of dental chairs to the Myitkyina People’s Hospital. The donation was received by the hospital's superintendent, Dr. Win Maw, who expressed gratitude for the contribution.
