2025 matriculation exam begun: Total rate of sitting for exam on the first day at 94.59%

The 2025 Matriculation Examination began in the morning on March 17, with a total of 208,889 students sitting for the Myanmar language subject across the country, including foreign examination centers.

This year, a total of 817 examination centers were opened, comprising 13 foreign centers and 804 domestic centers. Out of the 220,843 registered students, 208,889 sat for the Myanmar language paper on the first day, while 11,954 were absent. The attendance rate was 94.59%, according to the Ministry of Education.
