Iran Guards vow to retaliate against any attack after Trump warning

The head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards threatened “decisive” responses to any attacks, after US President Donald Trump warned the Islamic Republic to stop backing Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

Following the deadly US strikes on Yemen, Hossein Salami, in a televised speech, said “Iran will not wage war, but if anyone threatens, it will give appropriate, decisive and conclusive responses”.

Earlier Sunday, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei expressed in a statement that Iran "strongly condemned the brutal air strikes by the US", denouncing the "gross violation of the principles of the UN Charter".
