Receiving special envoy of China: SAC Chairman received special envoy of China

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, at the SAC Chairman's Office Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, on March 11.

Attending the meeting alongside the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister were Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council Member Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung, and other responsible officials.

Also present were officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, accompanying the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the positive cooperation from China regarding the implementation of the five-point roadmap being carried out by the Myanmar government and Tatmadaw, preparations for holding elections, China's collaboration in Myanmar's peace process, joint efforts in drug prevention and control, bilateral cooperation in combating online gambling and online financial fraud, and matters related to border trade between the two countries. The discussions were conducted in a cordial and friendly manner.
