









Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Minsk International Airport on Saturday. They were seen off at the airport by the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Maxim Ryzhenkov, the Myanmar Consul-General and officials.
On his departure, the Prime Minister was saluted by the Guard of Honour. On arrival at Kurumoch International Airport in the Samara City of the Russian Federation, the Myanmar delegation was welcomed by the Samara City Government Head, the Russian Ambassador to Myanmar and officials. The delegation then visited the JSC Progress Factory of the State Space Corporation “Roscosmos”.
At the meeting hall, the Prime Minister met with Director-General Mr Dmitry Bakanov of the State Space Corporation “Roscosmos” and exchanged views on cooperation in the peaceful utilization of space technology, sending more scholarship students from Myanmar to Russia to study satellite launching and space technology, cooperation between Myanmar and Samara City, and enhancement of friendly relations and other cooperation measures.
The Director-General and officials reported on the use of satellites by the State Space Corporation for monitoring the potential of natural disasters, conducting research for agricultural development, environmental conservation, satellite communications, launching satellites, rocket assembling, construction of the space station, and assistance in upgrading the planetarium in Myanmar.
