Workshop in Pyin Oo Lwin : Efforts for development of agriculture based products

A workshop on producing value-added items of fruit based foodstuffs, milk and dairy products and coffee was held in Pyin Oo Lwin on Saturday.

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than joined the workshop via online and discussed the production of value-added products for socio-economic development and job creation. He called for cooperation of all stakeholders for successful implementation of producing value-added items of agriculture based products.

Attends made general round of discussions on the technological needs for producing fruit based products, Good Hygienic Practices, international standard packaging system, application for FDA certificates, successful business practice sharing and drafting the business plan.
