Guyanese Prime Minister’s 4-day India visit

Prime Minister of Guyana Mark Phillips arrived in New Delhi for the World Sustainable Development Summit 2025 on Tuesday. Three-day Summit began on 5th March, with the theme ‘Partnerships for Accelerating Sustainable Development and Climate Solutions’.

The Summit is the annual flagship multi-stakeholder convening, organized by The Energy and Resources Institute. The Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs stated that this visit will add further momentum to the strong and growing – multifaceted relationship, including in the areas of sustainable development and renewable energy.
