Promoting Relations: SAC Chairman meets with the St. Petersburg Governor

On March 5th, Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Governor of St. Petersburg Mr. Alexander Beglov, at the conference hall of St. Petersburg Government Guest House.

During the meeting, they discussed the work implementations on the opening of Myanmar Consulate General Office in order to enhance the interaction and cooperation between Myanmar and St. Petersburg.

The two sides also exchanged views on the development and progress in the areas of healthcare, education, transportation and communication, tourism, industry, economy, and trade sector as well as the plans for construction of religious edifices in St. Petersburg.

At night, the St. Petersburg Governor hosted a dinner reception in honor of the Prime Minister and delegation to mark the opening of the Myanmar Consulate General Office. After the dinner, the Prime Minister cordially greeted and presented cash reward to the performance troupes.
