






Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, along with members of the state government and relevant officials, visited Mawlamyine University on the morning of March 4 to observe and support the efforts of farmers, breeders, producers, and distributors, as well as rice mill and oil mill operators and traders, who were selling rice, cooking oil, meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables at affordable prices. Following this, the Chief Minister met with responsible officials to coordinate and address necessary matters.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister toured and encouraged the peaceful and joyful purchasing of basic food commodities by teachers, staff, their families, and students living in dormitories. Similarly, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Technological University (Mawlamyine) in the morning to observe and support the sale of basic food items at affordable prices.
The Mon State Ground Census Enumeration Supervision Committee held its (1/2025) coordination meeting on March 4 at the Aung San Hall of the State Government Office. During the meeting, the Chief Minister, who chairs the Supervision Committee, delivered an opening speech. The committee’s secretary and joint secretary provided detailed updates on the progress of ground census activities within the state.
After that, the members of the state, district, and township Ground Census Enumeration Supervision Committees presented clarifications on their respective sectors. Attendees contributed additional discussions and suggestions. The Chief Minister coordinated and addressed necessary actions, concluding the meeting with closing remarks.
