Visiting Buddhist Center: SAC Chairman visited MTBC in Moscow

The high-level Myanmar delegation, led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official goodwill visit to the Russian Federation accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Thit Lin Ohn and the Military Attaché (Army, Navy, Air), visited the Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Center in Moscow in the evening, local time.

Upon arrival at the Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Center in Moscow, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, along with the goodwill delegation members, paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw, Maha Saddhammajotikadhaja, Dr. Bhaddanta Acchariya. They inquired about religious matters, the living and travel conditions of the Sayadaws, the needs of the Theravada Buddhist Center, and the ongoing efforts to propagate Theravada Buddhism in Russia.

The delegation assured to address any necessary requirements. Following this, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, along with the accompanying delegation members, received the Five Precepts from the presiding Sayadaw and listened to a sermon with reverence. The SAC Chairman and the delegation members offered monetary donations and other offerings to the presiding and the resident Sayadaws.
