Review meeting: MoI UM attended and gave the opening remarks

A review meeting regarding the Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Industry, Office No. 30 in Nay Pyi Taw on March 3.

The event was attended by the Union Minister for Industry, Dr. Charlie Than, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Deputy Ministers, subcommittee members, Directors-General, Managing Directors, and other responsible officials.

Additionally, Chairs of Region and State agency offices participated via a virtual system from their respective designated locations. Initially, the Union Minister stated that the Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition was successfully held in Nay Pyi Taw in accordance with the guidance of the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister.

He noted that the event’s success was due to the timely guidance of the MSME Business Committee Chairman and the collective collaboration in implementing the plans. He emphasized that the purpose of the meeting was to identify strengths and weaknesses to ensure that future MSME exhibitions and competitions could be conducted at an even higher standard.

He added that efforts would be made to address the weaknesses encountered by the subcommittees and further enhance their strengths. Subsequently, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council discussed the strengths and weaknesses related to the MSME Product Exhibition and Competition.

Following this, the Secretary of the Organizing Committee presented the weaknesses, strengths, and recommendations for consideration. The attendees actively participated in discussions, and the Union Minister delivered concluding remarks before the meeting was concluded.
