Second day meeting: 8th SSCWC held 2nd day of 7th meeting

The 7th meeting of the Eighth State Sangha Central Working Committee was held at Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Mayangon Township of Yangon Region on March 3.

State Ovadacariya Sayadaws, State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaws, State Sangha Central Working Committee member Sayadaws, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin and other officials of relevant departments attended the meeting.

The Vice Chariman Sayadaw of State Sangha Central Working Committee Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Dr Bhaddanta Candanasara presided over the meeting, and Joint Secretary Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Candavamsalankarabhivamsa acted as the master of ceremonies.

After reading out the numbers of Central Working Committee member Sayadaws, the MC Sayadaw announced the success of the meeting and the meeting to be held as in the agenda distributed. Then, the representative Sayadaws from the Regions and States submitted the reports on the vinicchaya affairs, religious affairs and education affairs regarding with the implementations of the State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee within one year.

Then, the morning session of the meeting was adjourned. In the afternoon session of the meeting, the joint-secretary Sayadaws clarified on the discussion about the implementations carried out within one year, sought the approval and the second day meeting was concluded. Dedicating to late Captain Tin Htay (Retired), his wife Daw Toe Toe and family offered alms for the whole day to the Sayadaws who attended the meeting.
