Flooding in Jakarta leaves submerged houses and chest-deep water

Houses in parts of Bogor, south of Jakarta, were submerged up to their roofs as torrential rain caused severe flooding. Residents waded through chest-deep floodwater, and over a thousand people were affected. The local disaster mitigation agency reported widespread damage, with many displaced from their homes.
