63rd Peasants’ Day: Commemorative event held in Loikaw

A ceremony to mark 63rd Peasants’ Day took place at the Kayah State Government Hall in Loikaw Township with the attendance of Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, relevant officials and farmers.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.

The ceremony focused on agricultural, livestock and fish farming issues, followed by prize presentation to 1st, 2nd and 3rd outstanding award-winning farmers. The Chief Minister and officials then warmly greeted the farmers, reviewed their concerns and coordinated the requirements.

They later inspected the Agriculture Department's model vegetable plantation in Naung Yar (A) Ward. At the NwaLaWoe Village Tract of PadarNyay village, the Chief Minister reviewed farmland development progress, legal matters related to farmlands and observed farmland project implementation by the farmers.
