Tour in Puta-O: Efforts for agriculture and livestock sector

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, who arrived in Puta-O District for food sufficient and cultivation of double cropped and edible oil crop, inspected the regional development in NaungMonn Township on 1st March.

During the trip, the Chief Minister and party visited Cloud Sea and beautiful scenery at the view point in MaChanBaw Township. They also observed piggery farms, being implemented with the State Economic Promotion Fund, manageable oil mill and rapeseed cultivation.

The Chief Minister later met with Chief of village administration body and locals and coordinated the needs including village development, transformer for Basic Education High School and agriculture measures. He also provided 7 million kyats for piggery farms and edible oil crop cultivation as well as 2-set of solar for high school electricity.

The Chief Minister also observed Alechi cultivation in No-2 ward and attended the green manure adding demonstration in MyoMaTaung Ground. The Chief Minister also met with farmers and provided seeds of green manure and vegetable, fertilizer, and capital for edible oil crop and piggery farm.

At the NaungMoon Township Public Hospital, officials reported on the progress of construction of 2-storey building in which the Chief Minister coordinated the necessities. He then encouraged the patients and provided cash assistance for the hospital and staff.

The Chief Minister and party also visited the Basic Education High School (NaungMoon) where they met with teachers and students and urged them to strive for high passing rate in the Matriculation Exam.
