Kai Tak Sport’s Park’s grand opening

A grand launching ceremony was held at the Kai Tak Sport’s Park in Hong Kong on Saturday.

The ceremony was divided into four themes; each representing the city’s development at different stages. During each section, spectators could enjoy a range of musical performances by singers from Hong Kong and the mainland.

Meanwhile, some friendly sports contests played out at the stadium, such as a fencing performance featuring Olympic gold medalist Vivian Kong and martial arts superstar Donnie Yen. More than 30,000 spectators gathered to witness the opening.
