MSME Development: Meeting with MSME business owners in Pyin Oo Lwin

Vice Chairman of the MSME Development Work Committee, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than held a meeting with MSME entrepreneurs in Pyin Oo Lwin on Saturday.

In his speech, the Union Minister reiterated the guidance of the Head of State on boosting production of dairy products, extended cultivation of wheat and production of high quality damson wine.

The Union Minister pledged to make cooperation in implementing these guidance, calling for participation of all concerned personnel for effective work undertakings. The attendees reported on the needs for loan disbursement for purchasing equipment and business operation as well as the permission for FDA Recognition Certificates.

In Pyin Oo Lwin Township, a total of 159 MSMEs have been registered while another 105 businesses have been issued SME member cards and temporarily registration cards. In addition, over 231 million kyat loan disbursement have been provided to six business owners.
