Indian Prime Minister inaugurates Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 in Guwahati on Tuesday, reinforcing India’s commitment to developing the country’s Northeastern Region as a global investment destination. 

During his address, Prime Minister Modi underscored the northeast’s pivotal role in India’s long-term development strategy, emphasizing its potential in shaping the country’s economic and infrastructural future by 2047. 

The summit, attended by business leaders and investors from around the world, aims to strengthen international trade partnerships and promote Assam’s growing industrial and MSME sectors.

With over 240 exhibitors showcasing opportunities in manufacturing, infrastructure, and sustainable development, the event highlights the region’s economic transformation.
