Bangladesh embraces 111th anniversary of Indian Cinema

Bangladesh celebrated the 111th anniversary of the Indian film industry with the inauguration of the 'Journey of Indian Cinema' exhibition at the Indira Gandhi Culture Centre in Dhaka on Sunday.

The event showcased Indian cinema's rich heritage and evolution, highlighted by a screening of the acclaimed documentary “The Elephant Whispers”. Film personalities, art enthusiasts and students from filmmaking institutions attended the celebration, marking the significant milestone in Indian cinema’s history.
