Tour in Thaton: Visiting the IPRD Offices in Thaton

Deputy Minister of Information U Ye Tint, along with the officials, visited the Thaton District Information and Public Relations Department office on February 22nd to inspect the library and its operations. They met with the district officer and staff, as well as the head of Bilin and Kyaikto Townships offices, and gave instructions.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister visited Pawdawmu Village and met with the library committee members and village elders at the newly opened Lunge Alinyaung Library, which was built under the library development program. He urged them to work together for development of the library, and donated books for the library.

On arrival at the Paung Township Information and Public Relations Department office, the Deputy Minister met with the staff.

In the afternoon, they visited Chaung Son Township Information and Public Relations Office, and inspected the library and its operations. They then arrived at Thuta San Ein Library in Thakkaw Sanpya Village, and met with officials and village elders. They discussed the library's success, its benefits, and the involvement of young people in social service issues, and donated books.
